Community Sponsorship Program 

The Community Sponsorship Program began in 2025 to help our member municipalities bring people together and build stronger, safer communities.

The program is now open for 2026 applications.

Through this new program, member municipalities can apply for up to $500 in sponsorship funding to support local events.

Eligible events may include:

  • Community celebrations, events, or festivals
  • Municipal staff events
  • Outdoor concerts or movie nights
  • Ribbon-cutting and grand openings for new municipal buildings, public spaces, or community infrastructure projects
  • Municipal anniversaries or milestones
  • Community clean-up days
  • Safety and wellness events
  • Volunteer recognition activities
  • Public education or awareness campaigns

Note: Requests must come from the member municipality. Community groups may be supported, but applications must be submitted through the member municipality. Events must be held in this calendar year.

We have a total of $25,000 available for the year, and applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
